Make em' Laugh - Other Blogs

So when I first thought about creating this blog, I had to check out the other competition. This is what I found.

1) Gari Davies - Gari Davies's blog is very informative and a little informal which gives the blog character. The page is very well laid out with links to other social sources. Unfortunately, I find some of his blog slightly too personal but he has however produced some very good reviews on different musicals on television and in the theatre

2) Broadway Musical Blog - looks very professional the picture of Times Square at the top of the page is very fitting. However the page goes on for a while and the sub headings are very small and a little hard to read. This blog however has pictures to illustrate its point which draws an audience in.

3) Newline Theatre - this blog is very well laid out and an overall attractive page. The page goes on for a while and there are different pictures but there is no clear sub heading. However the blog is regularly updated and has clear links to other social media.  The author Scott Miller has obviously got a large knowledge of musicals as his posts are quite factual and intelligently written.

4) London Theatre Blog - this is the more formal of all the other blogs and looks very professional. But you can get lost as the sub headings aren't clear. Unfortunately, the blog is very simple and not very eye-catching it has a plain white back ground with blue headlines. This makes the blog easy to read but makes it look quite boring.

5) Westend Musicals focuses on mainly finding tickets for musicals being shown in the Westend. The blog is well laid out with nice grey and pink colours. The blog uses pictures and video clips to help with the advertisement.
It also offers information on each musical and some reviews. However, it is unlike any of the other blogs reviewed.

I'm hoping that my blog will be able to be formal and factual as well as bring smiles to faces with small clips and audio snippets to help validate my points.

If you feel my blog is not laid out well or is it to formal or any other criticism's please feel free to comment and let me know!
